Zoopla unveils series of new innovations as it strives to deliver even more value to agents, housebuilders and consumers

  • Roll out of ‘In-Search Ads’ gives agents and housebuilders the option to advertise on the listings search page in the style of a listing and with a message of their choice to highly engaged users 

  • Enhanced My Home experience with the launch of ‘Similar Properties for Sale’ will enable consumers to see similar properties to theirs currently for sale on Zoopla and easily compare attributes and asking price without having to create a new search

  • Improved homepage experience means it’s easier than ever for consumers to request an agent valuation

  • For housebuilders, Zoopla’s acquisition of Yourkeys will mean improved experiences for their consumers, faster sales, fewer fall-throughs and enhanced reporting on lead conversion


Amid a record first half of 2021 for the property market, Zoopla has unveiled a raft of new innovations as it strives to deliver more value for agents, housebuilders and consumers. 


‘In Search Ads’, which match the look and feel of a listing, are surfaced to highly engaged users on Zoopla. The ad creatives are built in house at no additional cost and managed by Zoopla and will feature on the listings search page, which has over 120 million views per month. 


The product, which has increased targeting capabilities, will have a flat monthly cost meaning the more impressions that are purchased, the lower the cost will be for agents and housebuilders. 


Zoopla has also launched a series of enhancements to the My Home experience, which launched in April, including the launch of ‘Similar Properties for Sale’. This feature enables users of My Home to see similar properties to theirs currently for sale on Zoopla and easily compare attributes and asking price without having to create a new search. 


With valuation leads being a key metric for many agents, an improved homepage experience with a valuations request component means that homeowners can quickly and easily request an agent valuation through Zoopla’s homepage. Initial results show this new experience has led to a 30% increase in valuation lead conversions from the home page. 


For housebuilders, the acquisition of Yourkeys is already enabling further innovation. Yourkeys reduces the time to complete reservation from 2.5 hours to 25 minutes and its integration with over 400 mortgage brokers enables real time mortgage application tracking.
