Beaufront First School is in nearby Sandhoe and Queen Elizabeth High School is located in Hexham, with the school bus stopping at the end of the drive. There are good road links to both Newcastle and Carlisle via the A69 or the B6318.

The property is accessed via a driveway and Middle Barns is the first property you see as you turn into the drive.
